Norma looked outside towards the old factory. Her parents used to work there but since the Once-ler ran out of resources, everyone abandoned it and moved on to start different lives. Norma’s parents were some of the last people to leave. Her mom had worked in the packaging center and prepared the Thneeds to be shipped out across the land. Her father on the other hand, was the Once-ler’s personal cook. Norma had met him a few times.

While I ship it, I still think he would have to be a Time Lord for this to be possible.

I’m thinking of drawing the Once-ler but I was wondering if you all had a thought as to what he should be doing or if there needs to be a specific object with him. I thought about maybe him coming out of the shower/bathroom wrapped in a towel with a Thneed on his head. Kind of like what we girls do to towel dry our hair? Maybe have the Lorax peeking out from behind a wall or something at him. XD Idek. I could write a short story to go along with the picture too if you want. I’m in a writing mood this week. :0) Thoughts? Ideas?

What’s a “onceler” and what does “ship” mean?

The Onceler is a character in Dr Seuss’ The Lorax. Fantastic story. The original cartoon is better than the movie but the movie is wonderful.

To ship something: say there are two characters in a story that you think would be perfect together. For example, I always shipped Hermione and Harry together. Basically, I liked the idea of them being together. It doesn’t have to follow te original story line. You just have to like the the concept of their potential relationship. :0)
